Charter School Reform: Past, Present, and Future

The Texas Public Policy Foundation has released a new publication: Calculating the Demand for Charter Schools.

The foundation says statewide, nearly 17,000 students are on waiting lists to enroll in charter schools. Brooke Terry with Texas Public Policy said state lawmakers could change laws in allowing more students admission to charter schools.
